About P-MACS Online Help

Topic Revised:  April 2017

Welcome! P-MACS is the Public Access version of the Minnesota Appellate Courts' Case Management System (MACS). P-MACS provides access to the status of appeals filed with the Minnesota Supreme Court and the Minnesota Court of Appeals. The P-MACS website provides access to appellate case filings in both open and closed appellate files.

P-MACS displays information about individual cases, including the title and file number, case participants, and dates and details of all docket entries. The information in the system is updated continuously during business hours, Monday-Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., excluding state holidays. Questions regarding specific documents or document security can be directed to the Office of the Clerk of the Appellate Courts at (651) 296-2581.

Access to appellate case filings is governed by the Rules of Public Access to Records of the Judicial Branch. Please review this page for more information.
