Using P-MACS Online Help

To obtain help:

Click the Help icon located in the top, right corner of the page to access general help or search for a topic. For more information on the data found in P-MACS, please refer to About P-MACS Information page in this online help. You can find it in the index on the left side. .

To search for a specific topic:

Use the Contents, Search, or Index buttons at the top left of the page.

Help Tools

	Contents	The table of contents categorizes help topics. Some help topics are organized in folders while others are listed separately.
	Index	Use the Index to search by keyword and jump to the related help topic. Scroll through the list of keywords or enter a keyword to jump directly to that topic. Click on a topic to display its help information.
	Search	You can locate all topics that contain a particular word or phrase. To search, enter a word or phrase (when using a phrase, add quotes around it) and click Go (or press Enter). Select the topic you want to view from the list of results. If results are too long, try the Index first or narrow your search. Notes: The search results are listed using a ranking system (the ones at the top are the most relevant to your word or phrase search). To determine the ranking, it uses keywords and other structural elements found within the help topic. Your search results may produce more than one page of results. Scroll to the bottom of the list to see how many pages or results appear. Tips: If using a phrase, add quotes around the phrase (e.g., "docketing filter"). You can adjust the size of the columns in the search results to show more of the topic titles.
	Print	Click Pring to pring any pages in online help. Tip: If you want to print information contained in the drop-down "click to show / hide fields" or "click to show / hide options" sections, be sure this information is showing when you click Print.
