Participant Search

You can search for a person, company, or organization.

  1. Click Case Management at the top of the page, if it is not the default view.

  2. Click Participant Search on the left toolbar.

  3. Complete the name fields with the name of the person for whom you are searching. See the Search Entry Tips below for assistance.

  4. Click Search or press Enter.  See the Search Results table below for assistance.

Sometimes, your Participant Search may produce many results. The following fields contain information pertaining to each specific case.

 

Search Results Field Description

Case Number

Displays the appellate case number and provides a link to the Case View. If this is a consolidated case, P-MACS shows "(con)" at the end of the case number. Click the blue case number link to view the case information. View other cases in the consolidation by looking under the Consolidated field.

Participant

Shows the name that was included as a search result.

Short Title

Shows the short title (sometimes different from the full title) of the case. The participant's name may or may not appear in the title.

Filing Date

Shows the case filing date.

Appellate Role

For non-archived cases, this field shows the role the participant plays or played in the case (e.g., Attorney, Appellant, etc.). If a case has been archived, Archive will appear.
